Diverticulitis:
blind ending pouch containing fluid, air, or particulate matter. Mural thickening of diverticulum and adjacent small bowel. Mesenteric fat infiltration and fluid; extraluminal gas and LAD in some cases.
Attached band tethering Meckel diverticulum to umbilicus or mesentery may help w dx.
Hyperattenuating ring
Central dot sign: thrombosed vascular pedicle w/n inflammed epiploid appendage.
Larger (>3-5 cm) ball of dirty fat adjacent to ascending colon.
